Pembroke, MA - Monday, October 4, 2010 San Francisco Housing Authority (San Francisco, CA), the oldest housing authority in California, and one of the largest in the nation, has selected Ariett ReqNet, plus Budgeting, Receiving, Vendor Assignment and RFQ modules, to streamline their extensive procurement process for 500 users across 33 locations.
Established in 1938, The SFHA is the 17th largest from some 3,200 public housing authorities across the nation. The primary mission of the SFHA is to provide safe, sanitary, affordable, and decent housing to the very low-income families, senior citizens and persons with disabilities. The SFHA has grown to include 45 developments located in many and different San Francisco neighborhoods, with over 6,575 units of public housing serving the very low-income families, seniors and disabled residents of San Francisco.
Subsequently, SFHA has developed complex and extensive purchase and requisitioning requirements. SFHA felt they could improve efficiency to their procurement processes if they could improve visibility into budgetary information, as well as view concurrent status of their POs once in the system. After an extensive competitive review process, SFHA identified ReqNet as an optimal solution to improve the administrative part of their procurement process through an easy to use and intuitive solution that would ensure user acceptance.
Additionally, ReqNet Vendor Assignment and RFQ functionality will enable SFHA to manage their entire Request For Proposal (RFP) process.
