American Council on Education Selects Ariett Expense and Contract Management (3/10/16)

Pembroke, MA – March 10, 2016 – Ariett, a leading provider of Cloud Purchase and Expense software, announced today that the American Council on Education (ACE) has selected Ariett’s unified platform for AP invoice automation, contract management and expense reporting.  As the most influential education association in the U.S. with 1700 member institutions, ACE decided on Ariett because the software not only automated their business processes but also offered greater financial control with insight into pre-travel requests and contract spending.

The largest higher education organization in the country, ACE represents the presidents of U.S. degree granting institutions, including two and four year colleges and private and public universities.  As a large organization with many constituents, ACE sought one, easy to use and deploy solution for managing multiple business processes.  With Ariett, ACE is moving from paper and Excel-based expense reporting to automated expense reporting and from their current AP invoice solution to AP invoice automation with contract tracking.

Ariett’s pre-trip authorization and expense reporting provide ACE employees with the tools for controlling costs, implementing organizational expense policies and expediting expense processing in general.  Employees and contractors will have the ability to submit an Ariett travel request with the per diem, federally regulated, CONUS rate automatically calculated for employee reimbursement.  Exercising budget control, travel managers will have the ability to review a travel request and budget to determine whether the request should be approved.

Integrated AP invoice automation and contract management will allow ACE to easily manage all spending under a vendor contract.  Once an Ariett Contract has been routed for approval from different stakeholders (e.g. procurement and legal), invoices emailed into Ariett’s Document Automation Service can be tagged to the contract and tracked against the contract budget.
