Non-Profit World Wildlife Fund Canada Selects Ariett AP Automation Platform

Ariett News – November 15th, 2016 – Ariett, a leading provider of Cloud Purchase and Expense software, announced that the World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF-Canada), Canada’s largest international conservation organization with 150,000 Canadian supporters, has selected Ariett AP Invoice Automation for Ariett’s unique ability to support complex accounting requirements across decentralized operations.  WWF-Canada also sought one platform with a common workflow and user interface for processing AP invoices and employee expenses.

To help employees devote their time to fulfilling the organization’s worthy mission, WWF-Canada wanted to streamline their accounts payable.  Project coordinators in nine offices in different regions required a solution that would allow them to quickly submit invoices to the central accounting department.  With Ariett’s Document Service, employees can email an invoice or take a picture on their phone (or scan the invoice) and email the invoice to the service in order for an AP transaction to be created with the invoice attached.

Ariett’s search screens and audit trails deliver to financial managers a complete picture of invoice approvals across different locations and departments.  While approving an invoice in Ariett, a department manager on his/her tablet can review the invoice side by side with the transaction and approve it against the department budget.  Ariett’s reporting capabilities help non-profit organizations like WWF-Canada to have an accelerated month-end closing and to provide detailed spending information by department, location or project.

President of Ariett Glenn Brodie says, “Large non-profit organizations like WWF-Canada are often seeking to improve transparency and efficiency in their business processes so they can focus on their core mission.  Ariett has achieved customer success with hundreds of non-profit organizations by providing non-profit stakeholders with greater insight into how money is being spent with a unified spend management platform.”

A final requirement for WWF-Canada, which Ariett fulfilled, was to have a solution that supported complex accounting rules, including support for all general ledger segments and the capture of HST, a Canadian consumption tax.
